What we know about you when you use HomeHunterGuide, and what we do with it.
What you send us. Tips, ratings and votes you send are saved and may be published. To count votes fairly we store a scrambled code made from your IP address, never the address itself. Specifically, we receive:
- Questions and tips you choose to post. Like almost every website, our server keeps standard logs (IP address, browser and pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. We record anonymous totals, like tool uses and outbound clicks.
On your device. Anything a page remembers for you is kept in your own browser, not on our server.
Third parties. We don’t set tracking cookies of our own, and there is nothing to sign up for to read the site. We may use a measurement service like Google Analytics, and possibly ads in the future. These can set cookies, which your browser lets you block.
Selling and sharing. We don’t sell your personal information. Outside of our hosting and email providers, we keep your details to ourselves, except where the law says otherwise.
Your choices. Email privacy@homehunterguide.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted. The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
